Byobugaura

Special Terrain

Byobugaura is a cliffed coast that continues for approximately 10 kilometers from Naarai Town, Choshi City to Cape Gyobu, Asahi City. The rough cliff surface that looks like a folding screen is powerful and beautiful, and so resembles the White Cliffs of Dover that it is often called the Dover of the East.

Note: When visiting the cliffs, please use the promenade that runs along the cliffs from the adjacent Choshi Marina Sea Wednesday bathhouse. (No allowed on the cliff)
