The SainoKuni Saitama Arts Theater is reputed as the “theater that creates”. It is a place where the culture of exceptional theater arts can be sensed up close. Art Producer, Ninagawa Yukio, has created and performed quality artistic works in the mediums of theater, dance, and music since 2006. In March 2018, the Ninagawa Yukio Third Year Memorial will again host a performance of his work. The piano concerts and theater performances are a must see too.

近代的な劇場

初めて行ったのですが、地理的には大宮の一歩手前です。駅からちょっと遠そうでしたので、タクシーで行きました。小ホールは客席が半円に広がっています。トイレが下までいかないといけないのが少し面倒かも。多機能トイレはすぐ横にありました。こじんまりとしたおしゃれな劇場でした。
演劇専用の劇場

与野本町駅から歩いて10分くらい．大宮バイパス沿いある県立の劇場です．蜷川さんが館長を務めていたこともあり，シェークスピアシリーズで有名な場所になりました．現在は２代目として，吉田鋼太郎さんが引き継いでいます．次回作はヘンリー8世ですが，チケットはなかなか取れませんね．ホールは大小合わせて3つ以上あり，お芝居以外では，バレエやコンサート，落語会なども開かれています．また稽古場もあるため，俳優さ...
奥行きが広い舞台

シェイクスピア劇をよく上演していて、私が伺った会もステージの奥行きを利用したとても素晴らしい演出を楽しめました。この奥行き、普通の舞台の軽く倍はあるのではないかと思います。世界観を堪能できて演劇鑑賞にはおすすめの劇場です。
