Toraya Confectionery

This old wagashi (Japanese confectionery) shop has continued for 18 generations since 1657. They produce and sell both Japanese and Western-style sweets for each season. Their potato jelly—made with local sweet potatoes—is a top product, and the rakka monaka—made with peanuts—is a popular souvenir.
