Yatsu Rose Garden
Yatsu Rose Garden is located in front of Yatsu tidal flat in Yatsu, Narashino City. Over 7,500 roses from 800 varieties are cultivated and arranged at each corner in the 12,600 square meter garden centered on a fountain. It is also the place where a Japanese all-star baseball team which became the nucleus for the later Yomiuri Giants came together when an all-star American baseball team was invited in 1934, so a stone monument as the birthplace for Yomiuri Giants has been erected in the garden.
