Gallery Teahouse Yamashita
A teahouse located in Nagatoro Town, Chichibu County, Saitama Prefecture, which also sells and exhibits lacquerware and furniture such as lacquered Buddhist altars and decorative dressers. Visitors can also see lacquerware being made in the relaxed surroundings of the teahouse. Recommended from the food menu is their crème caramel which is so popular it is often sold out. Also, their matcha green tea and warabimochi (a jelly-like confection made from bracken starch) are very nice.
