Kawatomi is a place for cheap but tasty food in Gunma. The nasunokabayakiju which is sliced eggplant fragrantly grilled with a sauce and put on top of rice in a box is famous. Joshuota yakisoba is thick noodles mixed with plenty of sauce. In particular, the nasunokabayakiju is mentioned in many media and often talked about. Online sales of kabayakiju are now available.

茄子の蒲焼重、やはり、食感は違いますね

茄子の蒲焼重が食べたくて立ち寄りました。ナスがトロトロになるので、うなぎの蒲焼とは全く違う食感です。鶏肉が隠れていて、不思議なお重ですね。他に屋台っぽい魅力的なメニューがあったので、そっちを頼めばよかったかな。もの好きな方は一度食べても良いかなという感じです。
「鶏の唐揚げ」コスパ最高！笑

周辺には何もない、田んぼの真ん中にポツンと一軒家。11:30の開店近くなるとどこからともなく車が続々と到着、平日ながらオーダー待ちの行列ができます。水曜・木曜休み、午後3時までの営業。ウリは「名物太田焼きそば@330円税別」と「なすの蒲焼き重@900税別」ですが、ぜひ「鶏の唐揚げ4個@350税別」も食べてみてください！注文してから揚げるようで時間はかかりますが、その大きさに圧倒されるはずです。

ジャガイモ入り太田焼きそばが食べたくてネットで調べ行きました。行ってみると、先客１５名。仕方なく並びます。豚バラジャガイモ入り焼きそばとから揚げをたのみテーブルで待つこと１時間。焼きそばはまとめて作ったものを大きなバットに入れてあるのでフニャフニャに伸びていてうまくありません。客のほとんどが「なすの蒲焼丼」を食べているのも納得です。
