Tamao Kitchen
A restaurant located at the entrance to Daiichi Pension-mura B in Katashina Village, Gunma Prefecture. Tamao Kitchen opened here along National Route 120 in 2015. The interior is decorated in a Japanese countryside style that is fashionable at the same time, creating a comfortable, casual atmosphere. Designed around the concept of being a step above your usual cheap eatery, Tamao Kitchen serves novel dishes made with local ingredients and specialty products. The restaurant’s vaunted tomato curry, made with an abundance of tomatoes, is popular with customers of all ages. The lunch menu primarily focuses on set meals, while at night Tamao Kitchen also acts as a casual bar.
