Shirotori Zoo
Shirotori Zoo was established in 1985 in Higashikagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture. It is popular as a place where visitors can enjoy getting close to the animals without being hindered by cages and fences normally found at other zoos. Rabbits and peacocks can be seen freely roaming about around the zoo and the parking lot. And in the Animals Exploration Plaza, animals such as deer, goat, sheep, turkey, mouflon, and llama graze and wander freely. Other popular attractions include the impressive white tiger display, the Wanwan Plaza where visitors can play with unusual breeds of dog, and a stage with animal shows, etc.
