Nagata in Kanoka
Nagata in Kanoka is a well-known kamaage udon (noodles straight from the pot) restaurant located about 10 minutes on foot from JR Konzoji Station. The restaurant also shows films reflecting udon noodles of Kagawa Prefecture. The kamaage udon noodles with their smooth, chewy texture made with a strong broth go together perfectly with the dipping sauce flavored with dried young sardine. The restaurant also offers a wide variety of side dishes such as takikomi-gohan (boiled rice seasoned with soy sauce and mixed with meat or seafood and savory vegetables) and ohagi (rice balls coated with sweetened red beans, soybean flour or sesame).
