Mizukiya is a seafood restaurant located halfway along Mizuki Shigeru Road in Matsugae Town, Sakaiminato City. For lunch, diners can enjoy seafood rice bowl featuring a specially-made soy-sauce-based sauce; in the evenings, Mizukiya serves Izakaya (traditional Japanese bar-restaurant) style cuisine such as Sashimi Moriawase (a plate of assorted sashimi), accompanied by locally-brewed sakes etc.; the menu at Mizukiya emphasizes fresh, seasonal local fish species. Popular dishes include the cuttlefish cutlet, which won an award at the Fifth Annual Sakaiminato Processed Marine Products Awards, chosen by popular vote, and the seafood rice bowl.

水木しげる記念館を後にして帰路についたのだけれど、お腹が空いた。
水木しげるロード沿いのお店「みづき屋」さんに駆け込んで、ろくにメニューも見ずに、海鮮丼と生ビールを注文。料理を待っている間に帰りの列車の時刻を調べると…やばい時間がない!
境線は1時間に1本の運行なので、それを逃すと1時間待ちだ。マッハで海鮮丼をかき込んで、駅に走る。何とか間に合いました。
味は美味しかった...

境港港などの地元で水揚げされた新鮮な魚介類やとれたて野菜を使った料理が美味しいです。新鮮なネタを使った海鮮丼が美味しいです。

メイン通りに面しておりましたので、ランチにて利用いたしました。海鮮丼を頂きましたが、地元のお魚といくらがのっており、おいしかったです。
