Ginrin-tei is a restaurant located in the Shirousagi roadside station, which faces the Hakuto Coast on San’in Road in the Hakuto district of Tottori City. Ginrin-tei serves seafood rice bowl and sashimi set meals made using seafood sourced locally in the San’in region, as well as squid sugatazukuri (seafood prepared so that it resembles the original, natural state of the creature), seafood banquets, and Usagi Sandan Tobi Don, a dish inspired by the legend of the White Hare of Inaba. In summer, diners can enjoy a range of dishes made using seasonal San’in fish and seafood, including White Squid Sugatazukuri and Iwa-gaki Oysters, etc.

I am so glad we found this place and we even got a table with amazing sea views! The dishes are often related to the nearby Hakuto Shrine, so for example my squid rice bowl had the cutest rabbit...
白兎海岸を眺めながらイカ料理

昨年、白兎神社を訪れた際にココのお店の存在を知り、今回鳥取旅行の昼食で訪れました。白いかの漁期終了間際でしたが「いか御膳」を注文。白いかの天ぷら、お刺身がついており美味しかったです。店内からは白兎海岸を一望出来ます。

白兎神社や白兎海岸訪問者が駐車場として使う道の駅にあるレストランです。道の駅のレストランと思いきや、店内に生簀のある本格的な魚料理レストランでした。お刺身を頂きましたが新鮮で本当に美味しかったです。こちらで昼食を取られることをお勧めします。
