This is a lemon sweets specialty store located in Setoda (Ikuchi-jima Island), Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture, one of the leading lemon producing regions in Japan. The shop is famous for the local confection Setoda lemon cake featured on TV programs and in newspapers. The Setoda Lemon Cake Shima Gokoro is made with lemon peel jam kneaded into the cake dough and is a popular item having sold more than three million cakes. It features the refreshing aroma of lemon and butter as soon as the bag is opened with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, and is familiar as a standard souvenir from Hiroshima. The shop offers a space where you can take a break while drinking free coffee.

しまなみ海道をドライブ途中に寄りました。レモンが有名な生口島の「島ごころ」で瀬戸田レモンケーキとレモネードをいただきました。店内で食べるレモンケーキは少しお値段高めですが、とても美味しいです。レモネードもさっぱりしていて美味しかった!また訪れたいです。

大きい駐車場、たくさんのきれいなトイレがあります。クーラーの効いた室内で他の店では炎天下で並ぶまるごとレモネードが飲めて最高です。カープのユニフォームやレモンの椅子などフォトスポットとしても寄る価値ありです!
