The market of Shiogama Port boasts one of the largest volumes of fresh tuna nationally, and offers an abundance of fresh seafood and produce. There are also five areas in the hall to eat and visitors can buy their favorite seafood and create their own original Kaisendon (seafood and rice bowl), or have the seafood purchased cooked at BBQs available to be used freely.
