Able to see various Kokeshi which is famous in this town.Not only Kokeshi, but they have Kokeshi gifts as well.There’s a restaurant above the gift shop.
2階は普通の食堂 1階のこけしは充実

駅に一番近い土産店で、２階は食堂。麺類、丼ものなど定番のメニューでスペースは広い。１階は鳴子饅頭など食料品から各種土産多数。こけしは品数豊富できれいに並べられ解説も書いてあり、見ていて楽しい。こけし専門店といっても開いているかよくわからない店が多い中で、ここはいい感じ。
周りの店に比べて安いので入って失敗した

近くの「えがお食堂」や「ふじや食堂」は山菜そばが￥1300くらいもしたので高いと思い、1階ははお土産物屋さんで2階が食堂の「まるぜん」￥850の山菜そばを食べてみた。麺はボソボソで食べれたもんじゃない。勿体無いので全部食べましたが、ひどかった。ラーメンにしておけばまだマシだったかもしれないです。
