The Towada Visitor Center introduces the rich natural environment and wildlife of the Towada and Hachimantai regions that comprise Towada-Hachimantai National Park, which was designated a national park in 1936. In addition to providing information on tourist locations, there are also exhibits on the formation of the lake and models of wild birds, and visitors can also view the center’s video productions and DVDs.
