This restaurant, which opened in 2003, specializes in fresh seafood and marine products. It offers fresh fish caught off the Shonai coast of the Japan Sea for reasonable prices. The “funamori-zen” and “tobishima-zen” dishes, of which only 30 to 50 portions are available daily, offer incredible volume for an amazing price. The other sets and rice bowls are popular for offering hearty helpings of seafood. It’s about a 10-minute drive from JR Sakata Station.

朝定はおすすめ。まず、会計で前払い。並んでいうちにお目当てが売れきれとなり、「無難な朝定食」を選びましたが、大当たり。朝から何千円もする「海鮮丼」は食べる気ないし、良かったです。
朝定食550円が美味しかったです。コスパ最高。

港が見える立地で、旅館の朝ごはんみたいなものが、550円です。多くの方は、海鮮丼などを食べていて、そちらもコスパが良さそうでしたが、まだ8時前なので朝定食としました。時節(コロナ)柄、観光客ではなく、地元の方でにぎわっている様子でした。なお、セルフです。個人的には、おばちゃんの感じがとても気に入りました。なんか、自由に楽しみながら仕事している感じが良いと思いました。

刺身定食（１０００円）、岩牡蠣（２個９８０円）、ウニ（一皿５８０円、いずれも外税）をいただきました。どれもたいへん新鮮で、値段以上でした。昼１１時半過ぎに伺ったので、店の外まで行列ができていましたが、セルフサービスで、店員さんが上手に仕切ってくれたので、１５分程度の待ち時間ですみました。
