This observatory spot is located on the 27 kilometer stretch of road along the Aspite Line—which cuts across Hachimantai. On a clear day, you can see not only 2,038 meter-high Mt. Iwate, but also Mt. Akita-Komagatake, Mt. Moriyoshi, Mt. Chokai, Mt. Gassan and others.
