This restaurant serves local cuisine and is famous for its mochi rice cake dishes. It was established in 1991 and is located three minutes on foot from the West Entrance of Ichinoseki Station. The Original Bite-sized Mochi Set is a selection of eight bite-sized mochi including those with red bean jam, green soy bean jam and natto (fermented soy beans) and some grated Japanese radish in a bento box with nine sections, accompanied by ozoni (mochi soup). Customers can savor the mochi, hand-made from the best mochi rice, Kogane-mochi, to their heart’s content. There is also an Omotenashi Set, dishes combined with the Bite-sized Mochi Set.

一関地方の名物である「もち料理」を楽しむことができます。いくつもの種類のおもちが御膳に入って目にも美しいです。

懐かしい郷土料理の一口餅膳を頂きたく訪れました。
おもてなし膳を一人5,000円でお願いしました。

一口餅膳のみならず、ご主人が山に採りに行ってくださった山菜、本マグロの刺身等々、とても満足な一時を楽しめました。

ランチで一口もち膳(お雑煮つき)をいただきました。餅をちょっとずつ色々な味で楽しめて、美味しかったです。店内は落ち着いた感じで雰囲気も良いと思います。ただ、がっつり食べるという感じではなく、値段もそれなりにするので、シニア層以上向きの店かと思います。
