This restaurant serves local cuisine and is famous for its mochi rice cake dishes. It was established in 1991 and is located three minutes on foot from the West Entrance of Ichinoseki Station. The Original Bite-sized Mochi Set is a selection of eight bite-sized mochi including those with red bean jam, green soy bean jam and natto (fermented soy beans) and some grated Japanese radish in a bento box with nine sections, accompanied by ozoni (mochi soup). Customers can savor the mochi, hand-made from the best mochi rice, Kogane-mochi, to their heart’s content. There is also an Omotenashi Set, dishes combined with the Bite-sized Mochi Set.

一関は餅文化が有ると聞き、お邪魔しました。和風建築のレストランをイメージしてましたが全く違う感じで笑餅料理は美味い、さすが名店。
丁寧さを感じるお餅

一つ一つ丁寧に作られた一関名物のもち膳が楽しめます。他の地域では珍しい味付けだけではなく，季節限定でオリジナルの味付けもあり、一関餅文化の奥深さを感じます。お餅だけでなく天丼もおいしいです。いつか夜も行ってみたい！
