Aji no Sapporo Onishi (味の札幌 大西)

This is a ramen shop on the Showadori Shopping Street. It serves ramen with many different toppings including pickled plums, natto (fermented soy beans) and hot ramen with a spicy topping. One of the flagship items on the menu is the miso curry milk ramen, famed as a B-class gourmet (reasonable and delicious) dish in Aomori.

The curry, butter, miso ramen sucks!!!! Typical Japanese place but their signature dish is just something to die for... it’s just simply a must!!!!

Centuries-old stories of samurai at Kakunodate and the remains of millennia-old archaeological sites including the likes of Isedotai invite history buffs to delve into Aomori’s fascinating history. As the most northern prefecture on the Japanese mainland, Aomori enjoys a cooler climate, which makes it a welcome escape from the southern cities for combining castles, art galleries, and summer festivals with the great outdoors.
