A theme-park style Nanbu ironware factory located in Minamisenboku, Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture. Visitors can view a gallery of Nanbu ironware dating back 400 years and take a tour to view the ironmaking process free of charge. The adjoining shop sells old-fashioned Nanbu ironware and a variety of ironware souvenirs. In recent years, the shop has come to offer a variety of products designed to meet the needs of modern lifestyles while making use of traditional techniques, and its modern designs and colorful cookware are particularly popular.
