Rokkosaki Lighthouse

Lighthouse
Famous for being a place where you can see the sun rise over the ocean and set over the ocean, the Rokkosaki Lighthouse is on the northernmost tip of Noto Peninsula, located at the nexus of the inner and outer bays. It is a chalk lighthouse built in the Meiji period—one still active today. As an unmanned lighthouse, the Rokkosaki Lighthouse is only open to the public a few times each year.
