The Hotaruika Museum at the Wave Namerikawa roadside station is an experience-oriented museum where visitors can enjoy a “Luminous Light Live Show” at the Live Theatre featuring the bioluminescent Firefly Squid or get up close to the living creatures of Toyama Bay at the “Mysteries of the Deep Ocean” zone, having the opportunity to learn about Firefly Squid and Toyama Bay in an enjoyable way. The Hotaruika Museum is located around 10-minute drive from the Namerikawa Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway.

滑川のほたるいかミュージアムに併設している道の駅。コンクリート打ちっぱなしの外観の中に展望台+観光案内所+トイレそこまでは普通の道の駅。ミュージアム側の建物には売店等あります。どこまでが道の駅かはわかりません。

いわゆる道の駅です。ホタルイカミュージアムと併設されています。トイレがかなり隅っこの方にあるので停める場所は考えたほうが良いと思います。売店では新鮮なホタルイカを頂くこともできます。おススメは刺身としゃぶしゃぶです。しゃぶしゃぶは斬新な感じでとてもおいしくいただけました。
