With its stalactite and stalagmite formations, Sekigahara Daishonyu-do (Stalactite Cavern) is a real natural wonder. Visitors can view rainbow trout swimming in the clear water that gushes out from the cave, and there is an abundance of Paleozoic fossils to be seen. The area around the Cavern is full of natural beauty in every season of the year. Besides the spring cherry blossom, the wisteria are in full bloom around May 10 each year, and the autumn foliage is a sight for sore eyes; the autumn foliage season starts around mid-October, but the best time to see the leaves is from around mid-November until early December.

猛暑の中、涼めればと思い来訪しました。予想通り涼しいが、中が狭いため先に歩いている方々が立ち止まると追い越せない、そのため流れを止めない様に意識して歩くと直ぐに終わってしまう。他の鍾乳洞と比べるとこじんまりしている割には料金が高いと感じた。

よくある鍾乳洞でした。夏にはとても涼しく気持ちいいです。むしろ寒く感じるほどです。
所要時間は20分。ニジマスがいるところがあり、「あ、いた！！」などと楽しみもあります。
気になったのは入場料金。大人700円。私には高く感じられました。割引になるものもありましたが、私たちは持っていませんでしたので通常料金。駐車場はたくさんあり、無料です。
チケットを買う場所が昔風(昭和のまま)で、それが懐かしく感...

関ヶ原古戦場跡に来てこちらにも立ち寄りました。鍾乳洞、子供たちは探検気分で楽しんでいました。不思議な形の鍾乳石？や、ウニなどの化石もありました。こんなところにウニ？いつの頃のものなんだろう…不思議でした。途中、鍾乳洞の中の水流にニジマスがたくさんいて子供は喜びました。15〜20分くらいで回れました。
