This restaurant is located in Kanaya, Agano City, Niigata Prefecture. It was renovated from a luxury mansion, spanning an area of over four acres. The exterior of the enormous mansion of a local wealthy farmer has the weight of history behind it, and the Japanese garden, which changes according to the season, is absolutely beautiful. The interior of the mansion has a stylish atmosphere, which combines Japanese and Western tastes. It is also used as a wedding venue. The restaurant’s Kaiseki course meals, which center on yuba-tofu, and its Western course meals, which use local ingredients are well-renowned, as is the readily available lunch menu.
