Located in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture, Skijam is one of the largest skiing areas and resorts in western Japan. Famous for the beautiful view offered by its ski slope, this popular resort is visited by large numbers of skiers from the Kansai and Chubu regions. The slope is divided into three main areas suited respectively to everyone from beginners to skilled skiers. From spring to fall, the resort offers a variety of outdoor activities, including lawn sledding, park golf, and kayaking classes. There’s also a heated swimming pool, dog run, barbecue garden, and lodging facility.

we stayed at Harvest Katsuyama in Mar-2014 for 3nights and snowboarded 2 daysski condition - forget about comparing to nagano area (like hakuba resort) or hokkaido (like niseko) the snow will...

キャンピングカ－専用駐車場なのに普通車がいっぱい止まっていて止めにくく、係員も居ないし注意する人もいいないので野放し状態で凄く不愉快。リフトに乗るときはシングルがあるにもかかわらず人をのせない、クワットリフトなのに4人のせず2人にしているのでリフト待ちは長蛇の列。やはりスノボ－ダ－ばかりなのでマナ－は最悪スキ－を滑りに行く場所を間違えました。
