見事な庭園で抹茶しよう

金沢の前田利家さんの持ち物だった庭。見事な手入れされてて、タイムスリップしたよう。玉泉庵では、抹茶も頂けます。この日は、抹茶の体験イベントがあったので、参加してきました。掛軸は、前田家の現当主の筆らしい。静かで落ち着いた時間が過ごせました。

ここの茶室に入った時、すぐには気づかなかったのだが庭園に面した側には大きなガラスがサッシもなく嵌め込まれていて、そのおかげで部屋の中は大変涼しくなっている。視界を妨げるサッシや窓枠などないので、まるで障子を開け放した縁側越しに庭園を見ているよう。2018年の7月の酷暑の中でも熱い抹茶をいただける。
