A small sushi restaurant with just 10 counter seats located right next to the Omi-cho Market’s Jikken-machi entrance. Daikoku-zushi is renowned for its nigiri-zushi and maki-zushi made with fresh, Hokuriku seafood such as blackthroat seaperch and sweet shrimp. The Ume Course is particularly popular and comes with 12 pieces of nigiri-zushi as well as maki-zushi chosen by the chef. The chef prepares the sushi in line with the speed of the diner, serving two pieces at a time. This popular restaurant is frequently visited by tourists and people on business trips to the area.

近江町市場の十間町口からすぐのところにあるお寿司屋さん。おすすめメニューしかなく飲んだり摘んだりして長々と過ごす感じではなく、二種類づつ結構いいペースで握りが出てくるのでちゃっちゃと寿司をいただく感じです。何度か訪問していますが、小ぶりのしゃりに少しだけ厚目のネタ、控えめな大将、まともな価格、好きなお店です。

どれも新鮮なネタで大変満足できました。お任せの3,000円コースがおすすめです。これが3000円で食べれるのは本当にお得です。

金沢から帰る日のお昼に、ネットで見つけて、立ち寄りました。多分、メニューは、握りだけだったと思います。夫婦で営んでおられた、ちょっとこじんまりとしたお店です。しかし、次から次へと、お客さんが入ってきます。本来なら予約した方が良いでしょう。味も良し。
