Sushi Kappo Kouzushi
This sushi restaurant in Shirahama Town, Nishimuro County, Wakayama Prefecture is famous among the locals. The bamboo and garden lanterns give it a very Japanese feel. The parking lot is large, and many tourists visit from afar. The owner selects all of the sushi fish personally, and it is amazingly fresh. Fish caught off the coast of Kishu are used, and there’s everything from hand-rolled sushi to sushi banquets and a la carte options. The “daily special chirashi-zushi (bed of sushi rice with toppings)” lunch set comes with red miso soup and dessert. The “sababo sushi and “special jomaki” are also popular options.
