Fukyuen Otobashi Main Shop, located ten minutes’ walk from Kanayama Station, is a well-established Japanese sweet shop featuring wooden architecture with a tiled roof, and situated near the Otobashi intersection. Kikumonaka, the hallmark product, is exquisite as the bean paste using azuki red beans produced in Hokkaido pairs well with the monakadane (the wafers). The freshly made wafers are crispy and aromatic. Even after some time has passed, you can enjoy a taste and texture that is close to a fresh wafer by using an oven toaster. This shop was established in 1927.

名古屋の尾頭橋の交差点西北角にある老舗の和菓子屋さんです。ここの一押しは菊最中。パリパリの菊型最中皮にしっとり絶妙な小豆餡がドッサリ詰まっています。美味しい最中ランキングがあるなら、上位にあげたい逸品です。名古屋のデパートでも求めれるので、見かけたらまず買います。

デパ地下にもお店があるこのお店。こちらは尾頭橋に本店があります。一口最中はお土産に最適です。どこに持って行っても喜ばれます。
