Ito Shoha Museum

You’ll find this museum about three minutes from the Sarutahiko Shrine, which is northwest of Naiku, Ise-jingu Shrine. This museum exhibits the works of Ito Shoha from the Meiji through the Showa periods, many of which feature women as their subjects. The permanent exhibits include some of her most famous works, such as “Akikusa to Miyatsukaeseru Onnatachi” and “Retsujo Katana no Tsuma.” There are also a study room where you can browse about 500 art books and film materials; it can also be used as a rest area.

- 伊勢観光にて猿田彦神社へ参拝して、そのあとに本美術館に立ち寄りました。坂道を少し歩いた場所にあります。日本画家で歴史上の女性などを描いた作品が展示していてゆっくりと鑑賞できました〇

- 猿田彦神社から北へ200m。地元出身女流画家所縁の美術館。春の常設展観覧料300円。代表作は「伊賀のつぼね」や「山内一豊の妻」など。現代では死語と化した内助の功。平成のお局様にはツボにはまりすぎて、察するに溜飲が下がるものと思料されます。

- ゆっくり美術鑑賞
- 静かな美術館。外は大勢の観光客が多い中、この美術館はひとも少なくとても快適に過ごせました。絵画の種類も多く、特別展もやっているので十分にすごすことができました。とても涼しいです。
