Yokohama Noh Theater

This is a theater dedicate to the performance Noh plays and located in Nishi Ward, Yokohama City. Tucked away in the corner of Kamonyama Park, the staging house for plays is designated a Cultural Property of Yokohama City. In addition to regular noh and kyogen performances, the theater hosts workshops and events for elementary and junior high school students. The closest train stations are the JR and Yokohama Municipal Subway Sakuragicho Station and the Hinodecho Station on the Keikyu line.

JR桜木町駅から山手の方へ紅葉坂を登っていくと、旧神奈川県庁の敷地に能楽堂があります。青少年センター、図書館、音楽堂がかたまっていて、文化的公共施設群となっていますが、そのさらに奥の方に能楽堂があります。
初めての能だったが楽しめた

横浜能楽堂普及公演に行ってきました。席は１階後ろの方でしたが役者さんはよく見えました。動く歩道に乗っているのかと勘違いしてしまうほどすうっと登場した役者さんの所作が素晴らしい。最初に説明があり内容がわかりやすいのもよかった。
