Yamaya

Souvenirs
This longstanding antique shop has been around for over 160 years since the late Edo period. It features everything from pottery to carved wooden statues, old works of art, and “yosegi zaiku” (wooden mosaic work), a traditional craft local to Hakone and Odawara. The “nari goma” (howling top) talisman originated in China and makes a popular souvenir. There are also many affordable “yosegi zaiku” goods with traditional designs, such as coasters and chopsticks, making it a popular destination for foreign visitors as well. The closest station is Miyanoshita Station.
