This well established cake shop in Shimoda City, Shizuoka Prefecture was founded in 1948. The shop makes and sells a variety of products such as confectionery and Japanese style roll cakes associated with the city of Shimoda which was the first Japanese port to open up to the outside world. Their most well known product is the Harris Milk Anpan because it is said that Townsend Harris, the first American Consul to serve in Japan, drank his favorite milk for the first time in Japan here in Shimoda. The soft and moist anpan bread roll filled with plenty of homemade strained bean paste and soft butter is popular as a souvenir.

以前あった「駅前店」は閉店したので、今は駅から徒歩10分の「本店」に行かないと買えません。道の駅とか駅近くの土産物屋には置いていません。「本店」は、ペリーロードに行く途中の道を、ちょこちょこっと入ったところで、ちょっとわかりにくいので、グーグルマップなどで確認していった方がいいです。「牛乳あんぱん」が名物です。ちょっと珍しいラムレーズン餡の「大人のあんぱん」も食べてみましたが、「牛乳あんぱん...

駅前店は閉店したので、今は駅から徒歩10分の「本店」に行かないと買えません。「本店」は、ペリーロードに行く途中の道を、ちょこちょこっと入ったところ（ちょっとわかりにくかも）にありますから、ついでに立ち寄ればよいかな、と思います。
「ハリスさんの牛乳あんパン」が一番人気です。
