Yoraku
This is a Japanese kaiseki (course meal) restaurant in Hakone Town, Ashigarashimo County, Kanagawa Prefecture, next to the Chitose-bashi Bridge, a National Important Cultural Property that crosses the Hayakawa River. The famous Tai Gohan (“Sea Bream Rice”) is a lucky charm, rice cooked in kombu dashi stock with famous Hakone mineral water topped with sea bream cooked in natural salt. There is a popular lunch Shokado Tai Gohan which comes with seasonal nimono (food cooked by boiling or stewing) and ornamental tofu. The menu has options for every occasion, such as kaiseki course cuisine popular for celebrations and special events, sea bream chazuke (cooked rice with green tea poured on it), and Tai Gohan Bento lunch boxes for takeout. Children younger than elementary school age can only use the paid private rooms that are reservation only.
