This soba noodle restaurant, located towards the back of Takidori in Hakone-machi, Ashigarashimo County, Kanagawa Prefecture, is famous as it has been covered many times in the media including in magazines. Each day, it serves only 15 portions of its popular 20/80 flour/buckwheat flour ratio noodles from carefully selected buckwheat seeds stone-ground with their shells on. The Seiro 10/90 flour/buckwheat flour ratio noodles in which buckwheat seeds are ground without the shell are sweeter and you will be able to enjoy the original flavour of the buckwheat. The noodles dipped in duck soup using duck breast from Aomori are also popular.

昼しか営業していない、大変美味しい蕎麦屋

二八そば、一九そばのが大変美味しい蕎麦屋さんです。箱根湯本温泉の奥のほうにあり、昼の２時までしか営業していない店です。天ぷらも美味しく、利き酒セットも格別です。サービスも行き届いており、また訪ねたい店です。

蕎麦好きな父、夫のために箱根湯本近くで駐車場を利用できる蕎麦屋を探しました。土曜の12時過ぎに訪れましたが、空いていてすぐに座れました。10割蕎麦とせいろ蕎麦をそれぞれ頼みました。味は…夫曰く、麺が細すぎるので、せっかくの10割の香りが少ないとのこと。私もそう感じ、手打ちの良さが感じられませんでした。めんつゆは、濃いめで、母と私は蕎麦湯で輪って食べました。

お蕎麦は美味しかったがすぐに完売してしまうのでで食べられるかは運。鴨汁蕎麦にしたが味は文句なしの美味しさだった。売り切れで無い物が多いのが残念。
