Kawabe Koeido

Japanese Confectionery
An “usuyaki senbei” thin rice cracker specialty shop located a seven minute walk from Miyanoshita Station which was founded in 1879. The shop is famous for its mineral spring senbei rice crackers, which are grilled one at a time and made with mineral spring water from a famous local Miyanoshita spring, wheat flour, and rice flour. This delectable sweet is characterized by its crisp, light, Japanese cookie-like texture and elegant sweetness. The design on the can label has remained unchanged since 1880, and many love the cute, retro package.
