Tsuchiya Photo Studio
This photo shop on Kyu Karuizawa Ginza street boasts more than 100 years of history since its foundation. It was originally an inn for Karuizawa accommodations where is said that famous figures such as Kobayashi Issa (haiku poet) stayed. It opened as a photo gallery in 1906 and since then for many years has been photographing the history of Karuizawa. The interior of the shop is crammed with photos of Karuizawa from across various ages.
