Shioya Jozo (brewery) has 30 stone troughs lined up that have been there since the Edo period and are used to create miso and soy sauce. 10 buildings on the site, including the store, the main building, the annex, and the soy sauce storehouse have been designated Tangible Cultural Properties. Visitors can tour the miso storehouse as well. The preparation methods have been guarded by successive generations, and combined with the yeast cultivated in the storehouse, the taste produced is exquisite. It’s about a 15-minute walk from Suzaka Station on the Nagano Line.

こちらの建築物の内 10件が国登録有形文化財として指定されている為訪問し、《こうじみそ 500 g 578円税込添付写真参照》を購入しました。帰宅後我が家の味噌汁はこの《こうじみそ》を使い美味しい味噌汁を楽しんでいます。なお《屋号：塩屋》はこちらが塩問屋として創業しており塩を商うことが由来のようです。
