You’ll find this art museum in Hokujo, Hakuba Village. The collection includes works by over 80 painters, including mountain artists Kazuo Tamura, Shinichiro Adachi and Daigoro Yamashita as well as Kiyoshi Yamashita, Yayoi Kusama, and others. The exhibits feature over 100 different works showcasing various perspectives of Hakuba and the Northern Alps (Hida Mountains). After enjoying the works, relax in the tea room while gazing at the over 300 types of flowers in the garden.

周りの雰囲気に溶け込んで

静かな美術館でした。所蔵、展示作品はあまり多くはないですが、作品と美術館の雰囲気がマッチして楽しめました。安曇野からの雄大な山岳風景画など大きな作品が多く結構迫力ありました。

ゆかりのある画家たちの作品がたくさん収蔵しており館長さんの説明に感心したり驚いたり感激しました。今となっては貴重な絵がたくさんありました。来て良かったです。

白馬が安曇野に属するかどうかはよくわからないが、安曇野アートラインに所属している小さな美術館。エコーランドのはずれペンションエリアにある為、非常に静かな雰囲気にうまく溶け込んでいる。小さな外観に比べ内部は結構広く、白馬をはじめとした風景画などがメインで展示されている。観光案内だと、冬も常時やっているという案内になっているが、かなりの確率でクローズしているので行く前に問い合わせをしたほうが無難...
