Takamine Highland

You’ll find this highland in the northern part of Komoro City at a point 2,000 meters above ground. It is centered around Kurumazaka Pass with a gentle slope, which makes it good for trekking. You’ll find plenty of alpine plants in spring, and the foliage in autumn is gorgeous. You can get a great view of Sakudaira as well, and it has been designated by Joshin’etsu-kogen National Park as a precious natural locale.
