Azumino Gyouzakan
The building is a 130 year old refurbished private house. Inside the restaurant is also a permanent exhibition gallery displaying Azumino landscape paintings and portraits. The gyoza dumplings are made with pork from pigs raised in the Azumino Akashina fields and the vegetables are organic or virtually pesticide-free. They only have one basic kind of dumpling which can be eaten grilled or boiled. Other than that they have pork soup and braised pork. All food ordered from the menu can be eaten out.

- Very Good Homemade Gyoza
- This family-run restaurant specializes in and serves only gyoza made right there; both sui gyoza and yaki gyoza. Both are very good.Very serene, relaxing atmosphere.

- I wish I could say more.... As Im a gyoza freak, and I drove 40minutes from home to try this gyoza. And, while good for lunch if youre in the area, dont go out of your way. Good, thin skin, but...

- 安曇野で餃子!!
- 安曇野市の住宅街にある餃子のお店です。古民家を改造した店舗で風情があり、似顔絵のギャラリーを併設していて待ち時間に観ることもできます。餃子は餡がジューシー、皮もモチモチ。すごく美味しいんですけど、個人的にはモツ煮がお勧め。じっくりと煮てあり、軟らかく、ご飯がすすみます。店長さんもすごくフレンドリーで、美味しくいただきました。安曇野に行くときにはまたお伺いしたいです。
