A public outdoor hot spring bath located in Okuhida Onsengo, Takayama City, Gifu Prefecture. Situated on the banks of the Gamata River, the bath area is surrounded by huge boulders. Although separate men’s and women’s dressing areas are provided, the bath itself is mixed-sex. Un-enclosed by any fence or other obstruction, bathers can enjoy an open and airy bathing experience while enjoying the scenic rushing waters of the river and the natural beauty of the surrounding mountains. The bath sees particularly large numbers of visitors in mid-October when the fall colors are at their peak, with couples and families coming here to enjoy the seasonal foliage. Closed in winter.

開放的な露天風呂で温めの温泉にゆっくり、じっくり入浴できます。川のすぐ隣にあるため、川の流れも大きく聞こえます。

新穂高温泉郷にある混浴の露天風呂です。川の真横にあり、岩もゴツゴツしているため、野趣あふれるお風呂となってます。橋の上からは、丸見えです。女性は、恥ずかしくて、入りにくいかな。
渓流沿いの露天風呂

橋から見下ろすと見えます。丸見えなので、女性は湯あみかバスタオルが必携です。広い事もあり、渓流側に男性一人、橋の下側に女性二人が入っていました。橋の下の方の湯舟は上から見え難くそうです。入り口に二次元バーコードがあり、インバウンド用のガイドがあるようです。
