Teishaba Garden
This Western style garden opened in 2009 in front of Komoro Station, and over 300 types of flowers and plants grow in its wide plot. The Garden House administrative building has a cafe and garden shop, and they hold various classes and events about plants. The cafe menu is full of local vegetables and seasonal dishes that are good for the body. A popular item is the Ikusa Shiruko, sticky potato cake in wild sesame and soy milk broth, and the Garden Galette, which is highland vegetables and dry-cured ham in buckwheat flower crepes.
