THE GOSENJAKU

This restaurant located on the second floor of the Gosenjaku Hotel facing the Azusa River in Azumi Kamikochi of Nagano Prefecture’s Matsumoto City is open to non-hotel guests only during lunch time. Inside the dignified atmosphere with antique-style furniture from Matsumoto Mingei Kagu (Matsumoto Folkcraft Furniture) they offer up authentic French cuisine that is the pride of the hotel. Guests can choose the course’s main dish from among four options including the Beef Stew using a demi-glace sauce that remains unchanged since the restaurant’s founding, and fresh fish caught in Toyama Bay.
