Kyuan-ji Temple (久安寺)

This is a temple located near the Satsukiyama Park. The temple is also called the Temple of Flowers and visitors can enjoy seeing peony in spring, hydrangeas in summer, colored leaves in the autumn, and plum blossoms in the winter. The Romon (two storied gate) with a graceful curved roof is said to have been built in 1145. This gate, considered as an Important Cultural Property, has a Vajradhara that welcomes the visitors. It is also said the old zelkova tree was planted in commemoration of a moon viewing gathering held in the mountain shaped like Sanskrit characters by Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the temple grounds. The main temple that enshrines the Senju Kannon (Thousand Armed Bodhisattva) is known for making a connection with Buddha, safe delivery of babies, studying, and prosperous business. The temple also hosts Buddhist weddings.

Beautiful temple with a great flower display.. One of the best viewing spot for hydrangea.. Let the pictures do the talking, but definitely recommended for visiting during the rainy season.

A must...

This place located on the outskirts of Ikeda Osaka, is an unknown gem. Known to locals but just a bit out for them also youll discover an oasis, a most beautifully situated garden in any season...

アジサイの時期にいきましたが、枯れ始めの時期で時期が悪かったです。

紅葉の時期もきっと綺麗だろうなと思います!

While Osaka prefecture is the country's second smallest prefecture, its capital, Osaka City, is the country's third-largest and arguably one of the most popular in the Kansai region thanks to its vibrant nightlife, the Osaka people's openness, and its much-loved cuisine, which has earned it the nickname "the nation's kitchen."
