This day trip hot springs is located about 20 minutes by car from the Ibaraki Interchange. Bijin-yu Syofuen was founded as Kansai's best recuperation hot spring. Its concentration of spring water is 2.5 times that of standard hot spring and it draws from the Settsukyo Hana no sato onsen (healing hot spring). The bath earns its name of Bijin-yu, or bath for beauty, as the super smooth spring water is gentle on the skin and help bring out a soft lustre, which is popular among female bathers. The water is said to be effective in helping with cuts, burns, chronic dermatitis, neuralgia, and rheumatism. On the second floor you can gaze out at the hills while relaxing in reclining baths or the open-air bath. On the roof lose your sense of space in the giant rooftop open air bath.

美人湯さんは、アルカリの濃度が濃くて泉質はヌルヌルでリンス要らずと形容される温泉です。レトロなバスで送迎もされています。いい感じの温泉です。

地元の温泉ですがJR高槻駅よりシャトルバスが出ています。市バスでも行く事が出来ますが、私達は車で行きます。周辺には、桜の咲く公園や摂津峡がありますが商業施設はあまりありませんので自然を楽しみたい方、お食事や休憩にあまりこだわらない方なら良いかもしれません。温泉は、とろっとしたお湯でお肌にいい様な気がします。温泉施設ですがスーパー銭湯の様な雰囲気です。お食事何処もあります。お食事、休憩、温泉...
