This confectionery is on the ground floor of the “Sorio Takarazuka” commercial facility in front of Hankyu Takarazuka Station. The famous confection “Maiden Rice Cakes” was created here in 1926, and it is made by steaming rice powder and millet flour with sugar in a pot and topping the resulting cake with soy powder. It gained popularity due to its simple yet elegant taste, which embodies the Takarazuka ideals of “pure, proper, and beautiful.” The name comes from Otome Amatsu, a Takarazuka star at the time. In addition to loyal local customers, it is also enjoyed by Takarazuka performers and other entertainers.

阪急宝塚駅のソリオ宝塚の中にあるお店です。以前きねやさんの乙女餅をいただいて、美味しかったので購入しました。素朴で懐かしい味がします。
宝塚のお土産の定番の乙女餅を販売しています。

宝塚の銘菓といえば、炭酸煎餅の乙女餅です。乙女餅をお土産に購入しました。昔ながらの箱と包み紙で懐かしさがあります。柔らかくて優しい味です。乙女餅は、宝塚歌劇にちなんだ銘菓として90年前位に作られたそうです。添加物も入っていない味だそうです。たまにいただくと懐かしさがこみ上げてきます。

宝塚北SAに寄ったときに店頭に並んでおり、久し振りに買って見ました。宝塚では昔からお土産の定番の一つで、きな粉たっぷりの味は全く変わっていません。宝塚スター天津乙女さんの名前から命名されたそうです。
