Takohachi Umeda Underground Branch

This octopus dumpling restaurant, founded in 1979, is located in the “Whity Umeda” underground shopping area that connects directly to Umeda Station. It uses three specially selected types of wheat flour and yam flour along with a special broth to form dough with a soy sauce flavor, creating a wonderful taste even without sauce. The crispy exterior and gooey interior combine with the tender and chewy chunks of octopus to form an amazing combination. There's also okonomiyaki (savory pancake with various ingredients), negiyaki (green onion pancake), ikayaki (squid pancake), and other flour-based foods for your enjoyment.
