Hoso Udon Kuromon Sakae
This is a long-established udon (wheat noodle) restaurant that originally opened in the “Kuromon Market”, known as the kitchen of Osaka, currently operating in Kitashinchi, the downtown area of Kita. The noodles used are as thin as toothpicks yet firm, and go perfectly with the strongly flavored and aromatic bonito soup stock. The most popular dish on the menu is “Kakiage Tempura Udon” (mixed vegetable tempura on noodle) which is only offered for dinner. The clear taste of the “Ume konbu udon” (plum and kelp noodle) is popular among female customers. The elegant Japanese style interior has an atmosphere that makes it easy for even women to enter alone. The nearest station is Kitashinchi Station.
